Cherral Pollard

I started my culinary journey when I worked at one of the original locations of Carrabbas in Houston, Texas.

This restaurant still was frequented by the mother that created all the recipes and something in me loved that authenticity so much I had to be a part of it. I mastered every position in the front of house before realizing that it was the back of the house that was truly calling me home.

Upon moving to Florida in 2014 and settling in Orlando, I jumped on the idea to start at Le Cordon Bleu where I graduated and fully took in many different forms of cuisine. Working under many different chefs, I learned what it was like to be on the front lines and kill a service, prep and fully experience the joy the guest and others experience through creating that perfect dish that soothed their desire for food.

Food is a passion to me but the biggest satisfaction is being able to create something that pleases the pallet but also provides a lasting impression. I am continuously trying to challenge myself in and out of the kitchen and I don’t plan on stopping anytime soon.

When I learned about the More Family and the concept of creating meals for others, I knew this is what I wanted to be a part of; something greater than myself. The passion and heart that Jonathan has for life and for others is what I gravitated towards on top of the way he cares for every single plate that is produced and that makes it’s way to the homes of others.

I always believe that if you surround yourself around someone that has what you want in every aspect, together many great things happen.

I also believe life is about balance just like the flavors in food so when I’m not creating food, I love being by the water, reading, writing, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. Music, meditation and yoga are also my favorite pastimes.
